A freak tsunami traps shoppers at a coastal Australian supermarket inside the building – along with 12-foot Great White Sharks.

The film opens with an open life saver, awakened by Josh (Xavier Samuel) friend and fellow Lifeguard Rory (Richard Branticio). Rory tells Josh that he shouldn’t have offered to his sister Tina (Sharney Vinson), then offered to set up a aunt for josh. Josh met Tina, who discussed her upcoming move to Singapore. Rory appears to set a sow in the sea, a great white shark and kills a man in the water. Conscious of the danger, Josh quickly takes a jet ski and goes to get to Rory, but it’s too late. Rory is pulled into the water, and Josh is unable to save him before he is wasted.

A year later, Josh now works for a supermarket. Taking a selfie with Naomi (Alice Parkinson), she sees Tina returning from Singapore with her new boyfriend Steven (Qi Yuwu). At the same time, two teenagers, Kyle (Lincoln Lewis) and Heather (Cariba Heine), are parked for makeup sessions with Heather’s dog, Bully. A young girl in the supermarket, Jaime (Phoebe Tonkin) is caught shoplifting, and temporarily develops security guards by meeting with her boyfriend Ryan (Alex Russell) who also works in the store. The store manager, Jessp (Adrian Pang), catches him, fires Ryan and calls the police. The arresting officer arrives, Todd (Martin Sachs), and reveals Jaime’s father. Afterthat, jessp is placed at gunpoint by a robber, Doyle (Julian McMahon). The stressful situation eventually increases, and Doyle shoots fellow assistant manager Julie (Ryan Daniel Pette).
