Movie Plot: Big-talking rough-and-tumble truck driver Jack Burton won a bet with his restaurant owner friend Wang Chi. To make sure he follows through payments, Jack Wang’s Chinese fiancée Miao Yin goes with him at the airport to pick up. A Chinese street gang, Lords of Death, tries to kidnap another Chinese girl at the airport, who is found by her friend Gracie Law, intending to sell her as a sex slave. After Jack’s intervention, they instead take Miao Yin.

Jack and Wang track the back part of the Lants of Death in Chinatown, where they take a funeral procession, which rapidly spreads in a battle between two ancient Chinese societies Chang Sing and Wing Kong. When 0 “The Three Storm0 – Thunder, Rain, and Lightning, powerful warriors with weather-thematic powers – appear, slaughtering Chang Sing, Jack attempts to gun his big-rig through the crowd, but David Lou Pan, the person directing a decree three storm. Frightened, Jack exits his truck, but Lou Pan finds it unaffected and effervescent from magic. Wang quickly guides Jack through the streets; Two avoid carnage and destruction, but Jack’s truck gets stolen.
