Later, Sean looks at Harvey and the people who steal his money in a cafe and confront them. Harvey gives him his money back and gives him the chance to fight a ‘winner takes all’ for the money. Harvey had a meeting with his friend and rival, Martinez (Louis Guzman). Sean’s first fight takes place in a Brooklyn church against a Russian. He wins when he kills the Russian in a water fountain. Harvey takes Sean to a club where he meets a waitress named Jule Henao, whose single mother Sean had previously tried to sell a fake Chinese Harry Potter book. In the club’s VIP area, Sean also meets a professional fighter, Ivan Halley (Brian White), who used to be in the same college team as Sean, and was coached by Sean’s father. Sean and Harvey leave after the fight between Evan and Sean. Sean’s second fight is behind a store in the Bronx, against a very large opponent. The fight gets into chaos after some of Harvey’s crew intervened when the rival almost chokes Sean, and the store owner removes the woman from a gun, as one of them drinks a drink. The rest of Harvey, Sean and Harvey’s crew escape from the scene and are neither paid the fighter. For their third fight, Sean and the crew go into an Asian-owned penthouse. Shaun won the third match.
