As a child, Ep Man teamed up with Tin Tin-chi (Ep-Man’s adoptive brother) and Lee Mei-Y. to learn Wing Chun from Chan Wah-Shun. After Chan’s death from an illness, ip man continued to learn Wing Chun from his senior, NH Chung-Sok, who was finally going to Foshan to study in Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, after a field hockey match, the IP man and his schoolmates are racially humiliated by a Westerner. The Ep-Man considers language to be a crime. Westerners then killed them in Chinese. Ep Man challenges Westerner to a fight and defeats him. The IP Man’s notoriety and popularity soars after the incident. While receiving medicine for western treatment, which he now refers to as a friend, he meets Master Leung B.C., who is actually the teacher of Leung Jaan’s son, Chan Wah-Shun. Wing Chun from Ep. Man Leung learns a different, better style and his skills in martial arts are tremendously improved. Meanwhile, in Foshan, IP Tin-Chi became a leading practitioner under the A&T Chun Martial Arts Association.
