Movie Plot: Dot is a young, orphaned, deaf and mute teenager. After the death of his father, who also became deaf, he is sent to live with his godparents, Paul and Olivia Fear, and his daughter Nina, with whom he used to be close friends. However, she soon regains the secrets of her new family from the rest of the world as well as from each other.

Nina constantly insults Dot at every opportunity before his arrival. Dot blamed herself for her father’s death in a car accident, believing that if she was with him, she could warn him of the impending danger. Soon after arriving, Dot discovers an incestuous relationship between Nina and Paul. Paul invites Dot to live in an attempt to control himself, wishing that he could end his sexual relationship with Nina. He tries to tell Olivia about her relationship with Nina, but is unable to bring herself to say it.
