A man awakens from a coma, only to discover that someone has taken on his identity and that no one, (not even his wife), believes him. With the help of a young woman, he sets out to prove who he is.

Dr. Martin Harris and his wife Liz arrived in Berlin for a biotechnology summit. At her hotel, as soon as Liz goes in, Harris realizes that she left her passport at her Briefcase airport and takes a taxi to withdraw it (without telling Liz). The taxi is involved in an accident and crashes into the spree, causing it to faint. The driver saved him but he fled. Harris receives consciousness in a hospital and learns that he has been in a coma for four days.

Desperate to find his wife, who discovers what has happened to her, Harris does not return to the hotel. There she finds Liz with another person who says she is her husband and announces that she doesn’t know Harris. The police are called and he tries to call a colleague called Kohl without any benefit. Saying he wants to go back to the hospital, he dodged the police but is being chased himself. While on the train, he loses the man behind him and writes his schedule with the next day’s memory.
