Movie Plot: In May 1940, the opposition Labour Party in Parliament demanded the resignation of British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, who was very weak due to the Nazi attack. Chamberlain tells Conservative Party advisers he wants To Make Lord Halifax his successor, but Halifax doesn’t think the time is right. Chamberlain is forced to choose only the person that the opposition parties will accept: Winston Churchill, Admiralty’s first God, who accurately predicted the threat from Adolf Hitler before the war. Churchill tried to sack his new secretary Elizabeth Layton for missing him, which he was reprimanded by his wife Clementine. King George VI, who strongly disbelieves Churchill because of his brother Edward VIII’s support during the Abedishan crisis, reluctantly invites him to form a government. Churchill includes Chamberlain (as Lord President of the Council) and Halifax (as Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs). On that day, Germany attacked Belgium and the Netherlands.
