Movie Plot: Troubled by his father’s death in an auto accident, Cal Brakht attacks his Spanish teacher when the teacher reprimands his father. For the attack, he is sentenced to three months by a judge sympathetic to ankle monitoring and an arrest with a proximity sensor. Detective Parker explained the system to Bud and her mother Julie. Initially, the teen just plays video games and watches television, but he soon gets grounded from Julie and loses his access to the iTunes Music Store, Xbox Live and his television.

Kel’s boredom takes her to see the neighborhood, including two neighboring boys who play prax on her, her next-door neighbor Robert Turner and new girl Ashley Carlson in town. One night, Cal gets doubts about Turner, who returns home with a bold fender in the 1960s Ford Mustang, which largely matches the details given in a news report by a serial killer. Black’s best friend Ronnie comes to spy on Ashley and when they accidentally alert her to her hizinc, the curious girl involved them spying on Turner. Kel was picked up by a young female Turner from a nightclub as she flees from home in a flurry, but later appears to leave her car.
