movie Plot: James King (Will Ferrell) is an extremely wealthy hedge fund manager at Barrow Funds who is engaged to Alyssa (Alison Brie), the daughter of his boss Martin Barrow (Craig T. Nelson). During an engagement party for James and Alisa, the FBI arrives and arrests James for fraud and embezzlement. James’ lawyer, Peter Penny (Greg Germanen), urges him to plead guilty to a potentially shorter sentence, but James refuses under the belief that he will be acquitted. James is found guilty and later sentenced to ten years in San Quentin State Prison, with the judge (Elliot Grey) allowing him 30 days to bring his cases in order. On top of this, Alyssa leaves James when he suggests that the two flee the country together.
