Movie Plot: During the Cold War, soon after the Soviet Union launched Sputnik 1 in October 1957, an object of crashing space into the sea off the coast of Maine and then enters the forest near the city of Rockwell. 9-year-old Berth Hughes discovers a giant robot and attempts to eat the transmission lines of an electrical substation. Hoggarth eventually befriends the giant, it makes him feel humble and inquisitive. When it eats the rail tracks in the way of an oncoming train, the train collides with it and derails; Hoggarth takes the giant away from the scene, detecting that it can do self-repair. While there, Hoggarth portrayed the adventures of Superman to the giant comic books. Rockwell was led by an American government agent named Kent Mansley at the events. He doubts Hoggart’s involvement after talking with himself and his widowed mother Annie, and rents a room in their house to keep a watch on him. Hoghort develops Kent and takes the giant to a junkyard owned by Dean McCofin of an artist who reluctantly agrees to keep him. Hoggarth receives his time with the Giant, but after the predators kill the deer “Death” is forced to explain.
